2. Old Business:
a. Evans Hall Station:
(1) Fritz N6UK reported that we have a small room on 5th Floor of Evans Hall reserved for use by the club.
(2) Bill WB6NLL reported that he had testing receiving AM and SSB on amateur radio bands (10 – 80 m) at Evans Hall and found no significant local noise that would interfere with HF communications.
(3) Next steps were discussed. Jack K6JEB recommended contacting Evans Hall building/facilities manager. Fritz N6UK said he would do that. Bill WB6NLL will follow up with the IST radio technician.

3. New Business
a. Mal WA2UNP stated that the club was welcome to use the NALCO repeaters (QTH: Alta Bates Hospital): 224.900 MHz (-), 440.900 MHz (+) and 1285.550 Mhz (-).

b. The club agreed to reestablish the W6BB Bears Net on campus: Thursdays 7pm 146.43 simplex.

5. The club agreed to have the next W6BB general meeting in 6 weeks at 5:15pm on Monday. (27 Oct 2008).
